Suited for use in general security applications such as locking toolboxes, equipment cribs and more, many customers also use steel padlocks for lockout applications in environments where lockout devices may be exposed to rough handling or potential tampering by unauthorised individuals. The individually zinc-coated steel plates deliver superior rust protection. In addition, the use of a 5-pin cylinder, paracentric keyway with drill protection and countersunk rivets work together to enhance the lock’s ability to withstand physical abuse and tampering.
